Double Digits!

We had a big birthday celebration over the weekend. Our first-born, Teya, turned 10! I can hardly believe that a whole decade ago she was just a little peanut all cuddled up in my brand-new-nervous-mama arms. I get all choked up just thinking about it. I'm such a cry-baby.

We celebrated by going to the Renassaince Festival. Here are the kids riding on the "Pinta." No new worlds were discovered, though.

We got to watch a joust. Very cool.

That's Teya all harnessed into that jumping thing.

Teya also had two birthday parties. One with her friends (we took them bowling) and one with her family (we stayed home).

Happy birthday, Teya!! We planned on telling her in person today, but y'all were skippers.

I love the cake! I know this is late, but tell her happy b-day! Naomi is 11 almost 12 and I feel just like you do. Today she put on her jacket, shoes that are just like mine, her bootleg jeans and her glasses. Her hair was pulled back in a ponytail. She looked like such a little lady I almost cried. I'm a baby too.
