In our homeschool co-op this month, the kids are learning about the heart. Since Joel is an EMT, he was able to go in and teach the kids about CPR, heart rate and blood pressure. Here he is finding Teya's pulse - and Isabel had to run up there and "help". The kids seemed to enjoy the teaching.....especially when Joel talked about blood squirting out of arteries.

How fun having daddy come to school!!
Teya was a little embarrassed about doing this at first......but Daddy made her suffer through it. :)
Joel did a great job! Ian LOVED it. He was demonstrating on Audrey tonight how to see if someone is really unconscious. He really must have been listening!
Cool! I wish our homeschool group did stuff like that. Blah.
